Visitors

(including Parents and Carers)
 

In order to account for everyone on the premises at any particular time, all visitors entering the school outside of set down and pick up times should first register at the school office. This includes dropping off jumpers, hats, lunches, leaving messages and picking up children during school hours . Parents are not permitted to go directly to the classrooms.

This is for several reasons:

  1. In case of fire or emergency;
  2. To safeguard against unauthorised persons being on the premises; and
  3. For Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Visitors (including parents) coming to help in the school are asked to sign a visitors register.  Parents waiting for children in the afternoon are asked to wait in the designated area of the car park. All people helping out in the school are now required to be a registered volunteer.   ​
